How Transitional Window Films Work

These films shift from fully transparent to a tinted appearance when exposed to UV rays. The photochromic layer reacts chemically, adjusting the glass shade in about 30 seconds.

  • 20-40% shade variation depending on sunlight intensity
  • Instant activation within 30 seconds of UV exposure
  • Reverts to clear within five minutes when away from direct sunlight

Photochromic Technology

Our proprietary thin film responds to UV light near 395 nanometers. The molecular structure expands under sunlight, gradually reducing visible light while keeping the interior comfortable.

  • Up to 35% tinting under bright sun
  • Clear view at night for safety and aesthetics
  • Reduces heat gain progressively as the sun intensifies

Adaptive Sun Control

Adaptive Window Films are designed to balance comfort and visibility. Transitional Films provide sun protection only when it’s necessary, making them perfect for modern homes and offices.

  • Maintain clear visibility after sunset
  • Maximize daylight during cloudy or rainy periods
  • Ideal for bright sunlight without permanent tinting
